Terms of Service.

Effective date: June 24, 2026. Last updated: June 24, 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Tape Read (the "Publication," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Morgan Branch Enterprises LLC, including the website at thetaperead.morganbranch.co, our emails, and any paid or free subscription. By subscribing, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What The Tape Read Is — and Is Not

The Tape Read is an educational and observational publication about markets, options activity, and macro conditions. It is general information for a broad audience.

The Service is not investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or instrument. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing in the Service creates an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or agency relationship between you and us. We do not know your financial circumstances and do not provide individualized advice. Any reference elsewhere to insurance licensure pertains to a separate, unrelated business and does not apply to this Publication. See our Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

Access to certain content requires an account or membership tied to your email. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Memberships are personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. We may change prices on a prospective basis with notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues through the end of the current paid period and is not renewed thereafter. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated.

6. No Investment Advice; Assumption of Risk

All content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Trading and investing — and options in particular — involve substantial risk, including the total loss of capital. Past results, signal scores, and graded track records do not guarantee or predict future outcomes. You should consult a licensed financial professional before making any decision. You assume full responsibility and risk for any action you take based on the Service.

7. Intellectual Property & License

The Service and all of its content — text, analysis, scorecards, methodology, graphics, and branding — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and read the content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, sell, scrape, or create derivative works from the content, or share paid content with non-subscribers, without our prior written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it by unauthorized means, disrupting its operation, reselling or redistributing content, or using it in violation of any law. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaches these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including Ghost (publishing/hosting), Stripe (payments), and market-data providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and we do not warrant any third-party data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or that any content, signal, or grade is accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any trading or investment losses or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your decisions, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally. Any unresolved dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and you consent to that venue.
